Interview Formats
Traditional Interviews
In this format, applicants are usually interviewed by one person, who could be a faculty member, student, community member, or program director. Interviewers may ask pre-planned questions or tailor their questions to your experiences.
Recorded Video Interviews
In this format, you are presented with pre-recorded behavioural, situational, or motivation-based questions, and you have a limited amount of time to record your responses. You only get one shot at answering each question.
Panel/Modified Personal Interviews
Some schools use a panel interview format where applicants are assessed by a group. Others use a modified personal interview. In this format, applicants are assessed by several interviewers separately.
